I got a lot of cool answers to this week's #Tillman Tuesday question: How did you get yer Name??

Some of you were named after TV, movie or book characters, athletes, rock bands, songs, actors, previous loved pets, human relatives, friends, an ex-boyfriend or names people wanted to name their kids! One was named after a god and one after a goddess! Other names came from a roller coasters, a constellation and a comet. Some of you had your names already when you were adopted. One had been abused and had a bad name so they gave her a new one - Princess!

A lot of you got yer names cuz of how you act, look, or things you do - Monkey, Cocoa, Squeak, Gabby. One kitty just 'looks' like a Leonard. BOL! Purl had been a stray in the cold who needed a sweater, Silver's mom sold a silver necklace to pay adoption fees for her and her sister. Where you were found, favorite foods.. Some have Hawaiian or French names, and Shayna is Yiddish for 'pretty.' Newman's mom said he was the 'new man' of the house - and it stuck! Cooper is named after his dad's expensive tires, Pepper was named after a dream. Daffodil got her name cause her mom said she'd blossom in her new home. Lily's mom just liked the name.

Legend is a big male American pit bull terrier who's changed a lot of peoples' minds about how pit bulls really are. His owner wanted a name that was different and that people wouldn't forget so he was named Legend. He *wasn't* named after the movie, "I Am Legend!" He was born before that movie came out. BOL!

I don't know how long Legend's been around the Internet, but he's very new to Twitter, so why don't you all follow him and make friends! @PittiePupLegend

It's finally Tillman Tuesday again! Seems like more than a week ago, doesn't it?? Anyway, the Tillman Tuesday Question of the Day is... How did you get your Name??

I was named after late NFL football player and U.S. Army Ranger Pat Tillman. Sully was named after Captain "Sully" Sullenberger, the airline pilot who safely landed the plane in the Hudson River in 2009. Rose was... well, she just looks like a Rose, right?? BOL! Actually, she got that name cuz she rode in the Rose Parade on Jimmy Van Patten's Lap, when she was a puppy. Awww.

This week is our "K9 Pride" episode! We meet Marines & their military dogs at Camp Pendleton, we visit the Rancho Coastal Humane Society and learn about adopting pets, join the Snow Ball Express in helping out a military family, Betty White gives me a big ol' smooch (and I give her a good slobbering!) and lots more!

Our #TillmanTuesday Topic was Favorite Animal Books. There were so many of them! I haven't even heard of some of them, so I have to check them out. Cathy Keisha had a few favorites: Charlotte's Web, Jenny Lind and Her Listening Cat and Homer the Blind Wonder Cat's book, Homer's Odyssey. Thanks for the recommendations Cathy - and I hope you get some of the new Natural Balance Perfect Bites kitty snacks with your Petco card. I haven't tried them (yet! BOL!), but I hear their super yummy.  ; )

Anyway, this week, we've got Betty White - who can't seem to decide between me and Eric (which happens way too much, btw...), and a bunch of awesome animal loving celebrities. We'll also meet the Snow Ball Express - a wonderful organization that helps military families who've lost a parent in action, the U.S. Marines, all kinds of military dogs - and lots more!
