Tillman Tuesday Giveaway ~ & My Great Great Grandpa!

It's Tillman Tuesday again - time for another Giveaway!

This week, one of you guys will win a $50 Petco gift card and a "Who Let the Dogs Out" T-Shirt!

I'm thinking this week it would be fun this week to talk about your favorite television animals...

Did you know my great, great grandpa was an actor? It's true! He was Buford, the English Bulldog who played "Max" on the TV show "Jake and the Fat Man," starring William Conrad. Actually, I'm not sure how many greats go in there, but we're definitely related!

Great Great (Great?) Grandpa Buford!

To enter the giveaway, leave a comment to this post, telling me your all time favorite TV animal character. Be sure to include your email address or your Twitter ID. That's it! The giveaway ends at 11:59pm PDT tonight night. (18 & over, void where prohibited.)

And don't forget to watch "Who Let The Dogs Out" on Animal Planet this Saturday!

Well, alot remember Lassie, rintin , fury , mr ed- all amazing- my favorite showwith an animal though was Gentle Ben then flipper- through those shows I saw animals were amazing. Yes I was young when gentle ben was out but still loved it..I dreamed of leaving it all and living in Nature ( even tarzan and dr doolite made me want to live with the animals).

So my my favorite Gentle Ben- seems the bigger creatures were not always remembered or appreciated..

Oh I loved Max- he was a cutie patootie. @mom4everever on twitter

Finder's Key, Joey in the movie War Horse and Popcorn Deelights, one of the horses that played Seabiscuit. Finder is the most expressive horse I think I have ever seen in my life. His ability to show his emotions with his eyes is wonderful.
Pops is awesome. When the horse that played War Admiral in the movie Seabisuit kept beating the Biscuit in the match race, Pops was brought in to run the race and give it it's proper ending...Seabiscuit wins. Also, whenever Seabiscuit breaks from the gate...that's Pops. I've met him in person and taken his picture many times at one of my favorite charities, Old Friends Equine Retirement Farm in Georgetown, KY. He is the only retiree who is a card carrying memeber of the Screen Actors Guild.

@Unchat A funny Canadian,
Diefenbaker, a deaf white wolfdog in the Canadian TV Series Due South. Diefenbaker becomes deaf when he rescues RMCP's Fraser from freezing cold water. In one episode he fathers some puppies. He's an excellent tracker and better to work with than a gun when chasing criminals.

In Chicago Fraser, working for the Canadian Embassy, cannot carry a gun. Gunless, Diefenbaker is his only weapon when fighting armed bad guys. RCMP defeating armed bad guys with wit and a wolf. Only in TV fantasy.

My 2nd Fav TV animal was Leslie Nielsen in the later half of his career. Ya, he made ya laugh so hard you couldn't get off the ground, he didn't need a gun either.

My all time favorite TV animal was the cat on Early Edition. For those of you who never got to experience the awesomeness of this show, it was about a man named Gary who received tomorrow's newspaper today. Everyday he would try to run around stopping all the bad things from happening. The paper arrived each morning on Gary's doorstep, accompanied by an orange cat. The cat was never given a real name, but I still loved him.
